Abstract:This study presents the fuel properties and elemental composition of Nyctanthes arbortristis Linn wood, obtained from seven different areas of Bangladesh. It was evaluated to determine its potential utilisation as a biomass fuel; its elemental components were evaluated to determine the wood's value as a soil improver when used as ash or allowed to decompose in soil.
