Abstract:Lonicera japonica (honeysuckle) is a traditional Chinese medicinal food, in which the main active ingredients are phenolic acids, polysaccharides, flavonoids, and volatile oils. They have various biological activities, including antiviral, antibacterial, antioxidant, hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering, and anti-inflammatory effects.
