Abstract:<p>According to the electromagnetic uniqueness theorem, the radiation behavior of an antenna under test (AUT) can be recovered from measurements of two tangential components of its radiated fields on an enclosing surface. In practice, measurements conducted in the radiating near-field (NF) of an AUT utilize probe antennas of finite size. Thus, instead of discrete field values, spatially blurred probe signals are acquired. The probe influence can be compensated, however, this commonly requires precise kno… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
