Abstract:Background
Fabry disease (FD) is a rare x-linked lysosomal storage disease characterized by accumulation of glicosphingolipids in several organs, including the heart. Cardiac involvement manifests as left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy, often complicated by myocardial fibrosis.
