Functional Characterization of Facilitative Glucose Transporter 4 With a Delay Responding to Plasma Glucose Level in Blunt Snout Bream (Megalobrama amblycephala)

Abstract: Facilitative glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) plays a central role in mediating insulin function to increase glucose uptake in glucose metabolism homeostasis. In this study, the function and localization of GLUT4 in blunt snout bream (Megalobrama amblycephala) were first investigated, and then, the response measured as carbohydrate level, was analyzed.
