Abstract:Background
Pulp regeneration is a novel approach for the treatment of immature permanent teeth with pulp necrosis. This technique includes the combination of stem cells, scaffolds, and growth factors. Recently, stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) have emerged as a new methodology for pulp regeneration. Emerging evidence has proven that preconditioning is an effective scheme to modify EVs for better therapeutic potency. Meanwhile, proper scaffolding is of great significance to protect… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
