Abstract:Clostridioides difficile (CD) is a Gram‐positive, anaerobic, and spore‐forming bacillus that colonizes the human gut and causes a range of diseases, such as pseudomembranous colitis and antibiotic‐associated diarrhea, that are generally known as CD infection (CDI).
