Functionalization of lambda-zirconium phosphate with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid: Synthesis, characterization and applications

Abstract: A new layered organic-inorganic material based on λ-Zirconium phosphate (λ-ZrP) and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (H 4 Y) has been prepared. The thermal analyses, X-ray diffractometry and FT-IR spectrophotometry confirm the introduction of H 4 Y inside the interlayer gallery of λ-ZrP.
