Abstract:Aromatic hydrocarbon fungicides represent an older and chemically heterogeneous group of fungicides consisting of an aromatic ring system. They have been in use for a long time, but have lost their importance. Some of them are still valuable compounds in tropical countries and in use for controlling storage diseases. Many of them could be replaced by newer compounds with a broader antifungal spectrum, better physical properties, and higher activity.
