Gallbladder perforation into the greater omentum following sleeve gastrectomy: A case report study

Abstract: HighlightsBariatric surgery increases the risk of complicated cholecystitis.The first documented case of a gallstone that was half-eroded into the greater omentum following sleeve gastrectomy.A concomitant cholecystectomy should be performed for patients with symptomatic cholelithiasis, underging sleeve gastrectomy.A Subsequent cholecystectomy is associated with increased surgical technical difficulties.
