Gametic Selection and Mating Systems show Mutually Dependent Evolution

Abstract: Competition among pollen or sperm (gametic selection) can cause evolution. Mating systems shape the intensity of gametic selection by determining the competitors involved, which can in turn cause mating system evolution.
