Abstract:Due to the simplicity of the σ τ operator that causes Gamow-Teller (GT) transitions, they are the most popular nuclear weak process in the Universe. The GT transitions in p f -shell nuclei, for example, starting from stable T z = +1 and proton-rich T z = −1 nuclei, where T z = (N − Z)/2, play important roles in the supernova-explosion or rp-process nucleosynthesis. In the β -decay study of p f -shell nuclei, half-lives can be measured rather accurately. On the other hand, in a high-resolution ( 3 He,t) charge-… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
