Gauge coupling field, currents, anomalies and N=1 super-Yang–Mills effective actions

Abstract: Working with a gauge coupling field in a linear superfield, we construct effective Lagrangians for N = 1 super-Yang-Mills theory fully compatible with the expected all-order behaviour or physical quantities. Using the one-loop dependence on its ultraviolet cutoff and anomaly matching or cancellation of R and dilatation anomalies, we obtain the Wilsonian effective Lagrangian. With similar anomaly matching or cancellation methods, we derive the effective action for gaugino condensates, as a function of the real … Show more

“…If the theory is coupled with diffeomorphism invariance to a background metric g µν or to a vierbein e a µ , the Belinfante tensor is also obtained as They are defined by assigning scale dimensions in matrix D (or its eigenvalues w) to fields or operators. The scale or dilatation current depends on these scale dimensions: 7) in terms of the Belinfante energy-momentum tensor, with virial current…”

“…Generalizations of this case involving the supercurrent multiplets described in [27,[47][48][49][50][51][52] might be possible, but merit separate investigation. The operator content of the FZ multiplet, which has 12+12 component fields, includes the conserved supersymmetry current S µα , its conjugate Sµ α and the conserved symmetric energy-momentum tensor T µν :…”
