Generating 6^thorder Gaussian derivative for UWBoF using directly modulated laser and accumulative chromatic dispersion of fiber

Abstract

A new, simple, and cost efficient method is experi mentally demonstrated to generate 61h order Gaussian derivative optically. Proposed technique is based on directly modulated semiconductor laser, optical filtering and chromatic dispersion of fiber transmission line.
