Energy sustainability has become one of the main issues in power system planning in the Indonesian archipelago system, which has many small, isolated systems. For that purpose, green and sustainable generation expansion planning (GEP) procedures based on local energy resources is required. GEP is a necessary procedure for fulfilling electricity demand, which determines the generating units to be installed within a specified time horizon with minimal total costs as the objective function. This study uses GEP considering the interconnection option among the existing small scattered generation systems in Maluku: the isolated Ambon, Seram, Haruku, and Saparua systems. With interconnection, the utilization of local renewable energy sources would be increased, especially biomass, which has abundant potential in these areas. The GEP was simulated in the PLEXOS environment using mixed-integer linear programming (MILP). For comparison purposes, there were interconnection and isolated system scenarios. The results showed that the interconnection system would have a high share of a renewable energy source (RES) of up to 54% in 2050, most of which is biomass as the primary local energy source. The interconnection system scenario met the LOLP criteria and had a lower reserve margin and total costs than the isolated scenario, with USD 773.7 million.

Consumption of renewable energy is on the rise because new technologies have made it cheaper and easier to meet the needs of a long-term energy source. In the present study, the idea of optimal usage of sustainable energy is discussed, taking into consideration the environmental and economic conditions that exist in Pakistan’s textile manufacturing industry. By taking into account the regional potential for the application of renewable energy resources, solar energy generators are taken into consideration, and a fully intuitionistic fuzzy (FIF) textile energy model is constructed. Using the FIF model to determine the optimal distribution of solar energy units resulted in a tolerable number of unused energy units. These units may be returned to the central power supply station, which would save both money and energy.

Este artículo presenta un análisis bibliométrico sobre la planeación de la expansión de los sistemas eléctricos de potencia, tema de gran importancia debido al continuo crecimiento de la demanda eléctrica. Por tal motivo, los sistemas eléctricos de potencia deben ser diseñados y construidos para prever futuras expansiones mediante el ingreso de nuevas centrales de generación, líneas de transmisión y equipos compensadores. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se considerará las palabras claves que permitirán encontrar artículos de la misma temática en bases de datos Scopus y Web of Science. Después se organizará esta información de acuerdo con los países, autores, número de citas y organizaciones para realizar una comparación de la información obtenida mediante VOSviewer para indagar criterios de aceptación. Al contar con los artículos seleccionados se realiza la matriz del Estado del Arte que brindará información sobre formulación, restricción, propuesta y solución al problema.
