Abstract: Enzyme adaptations to temperature occur constantly as temperature patterns modulate diurnally and seasonally. These adaptations entail qualitative and/or quantitative metabolic changes that often provide a competitive advantage, impact adjustment to new environments, and effect the survival of the species.
