Abstract: The genus Armillaria (Basidiomycota, Agaricales, Physalacriaceae) comprises pathogenic fungi that cause root-rot disease in plants, as well as species with low pathogenicity, some of which are hosts of the fully mycoheterotrophic orchid plant Gastrodia elata (Orchidaceae).
