Abstract: The molecular mechanisms that underpin acquisition and maintenance of lineage specific gene expression by virus-specific CD8+ T cells are not fully delineated. Post-translational modifications (PTMs) of genome associated histone proteins are a key mechanism for regulating gene expression.
