Abstract:The NOTCH gene encode transmembrane receptor. It play a vital role in several process stem cell maintenance and differentiation during embryonic and adult development. When ligand bind at a specific part intracellular part of NOTCH receptor is cleaved and translocate to the nucleus from where it can bind to transcription site.
