Genomic Characterization of ESBL-producing Escherichia coli Isolates Belonging to a Hybrid aEPEC/ExPEC Pathotype O153:H10-A-ST10 eae-beta1 Occurred in Human Diarrheagenic Isolates, Meat, Poultry and Wildlife

Abstract: Different surveillance studies (2005)(2006)(2007)(2008)(2009)(2010)(2011)(2012)(2013)(2014)(2015) on the presence of ESBL-producing E. coli in the northwest Spain revealed that eae-positive isolates of serotype O153:H10 were periodically detected in meat (of beef, chicken and pork), and also implicated in human diarrhea.
