Geometrical Shielding Produced by Intergranular Crack-Tip Branching in Fe–V–P Alloy

Abstract: The geometrical shielding produced by intergranular crack-tip branching in the fracture toughness tests of the Fe–V–P alloy is quantitatively assessed particularly with respect to the contribution of crack splitting.
