Geotectonic Controls on CO2 Formation and Distribution Processes in the Brazilian Pre-Salt Basins

Abstract: Exploratory work for hydrocarbons along the southeastern Brazilian Margin discovered high concentrations of CO2 in several fields, setting scientific challenges to understand these accumulations.
