Abstract: Background: HIV preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) remains underutilized despite its efficacy and potential population impact. “…The standard of care included the institution's existing CHP, which routinely provides provider education and outreach throughout the institution to increase awareness about available services. Providers had access to the program's information through routine outreach efforts, ongoing advertising, and the interpretive laboratory comment posted below every positive gonorrhea and chlamydia test result in the EMR [ 14 ].
