Abstract

MINISEMINARSEducational Objectives: 1) Compare the cleft lip and palate management practices of 5 academic centers. 2) Understand the core principles of evidence based research in cleft lip and palate management. 3) Understand the pros and cons of innovations in cleft lip management.Program Description: In 2010, otolaryngologists provided the AAO-HNS with recommendations on trauma education. This miniseminar serves to answer the most popular requests, including trauma reimbursement and practice guidelines/algorithms. In addition, experts will provide practical pearls in treating the often overlooked topics of laryngeal, pediatric, and orbital trauma.Educational Objectives: 1) Understand and be equipped to address the challenges related to trauma reimbursement. 2) Learn practical and contemporary pearls related to the treatment of laryngeal trauma, pediatric facial trauma, and orbital trauma with emphasis on endoscopy. 3) Understand current trauma practice guidelines and algorithms available in 2012.
