Getting Real: Ockham on the Human Contribution to the Nature and Production of Artifacts

Abstract: Given his known predilection for ontological parsimony, Ockham’s ontology of artifacts is unsurprisingly reductionist: artifacts are nothing over and above their existing and appropriately ordered parts.
