Ghost Resonance Spectroscopy

Abstract: We show the recently discovered ghost waves, a special class of non-uniform waves in biaxial anisotropic media, can offer a new approach to optical sensing, that employs simple planar geometry and low-cost dielectric materials, and provides a high figure of merit for sensor performance.
