“…Inclusion criterion was injecting drug users with the diagnosis of substance dependence that reflected a maladaptive pattern of substance use and significant functional impairment for more than a year. Diagnosis was confirmed by the consensus of two board-certified psychiatrists according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR) with the using of a modified version of semi-structured interview [Yoon et al, 2005].
