ZUSAMMENFASSUNG:1. Es wurden die Naphthalindicarbonsaure-1,4, 1,4-Dihydronaphthalindicarbonsaure-1,4 und die 2,6-Dimethyl-l,4-Dihydronaphthalindicarbonsaure-1,4 und deren Polyanhydride dargestellt ; letztere sind nicht so temperaturbestandig wie die Terephthalsaureanhydride.2. Aus 1,4-Dihydronaphthalindicarbonsaure-1,4, 1,2-Dihydronaphthalindicarbonsaure-1,2 und 2,6-Dimethyl-l,4-Dihydronaphthalindicarbonsaure-1,4 wurden ungesattigte Polyester mit Bthylenglykol hergestellt. Copolymerisationsversuche mit Styrol wurden durchgefiihrt. Nur der 1,4-Dihydronaphthalindicarbonsaure-1,4-Polyester konnte copolymerisiert werden.
SUMMARY:1. The following acids and their polyanhydrides were prepared: Naphthalenedicarboxylic acid-l,4,1,4-dihydronaphthaleneylicarboxylic acid-1,4 and 2,6-dimethyl-l,4-dihydronaphthalenedicarboxylic acid-2,4; they are not so stable towards temperature, as compared with terephthalic-acid-polyanhydrides.2. Out of the 1,4-dihydronaphthalenedicarboxylic acid-1,4, 1,2-dihydronaphthalenedicarboxylic acid-l,2 and 2,6-dimethyl-l,4-dihydronaphthalenedicarboxylic acid-1,4 unsaturated polyester with ethylenglycol were prepared. Attempts were made to copolymerise these polyesters with styrene. Copolymerisation was successful only with 1,4-dihydronaphthalenedicarboxylic-acid-1,4-polyester.
