Glassy Effects for General Images

Abstract: This paper proposes a new grassy effect generation method. The grassy effect changes original image as the one behind the grass. Random number generation function is used to decide block size and the pixel location. Various block size and pixel location give unexpected grassy effect to the original image. Objective and visual performance comparison reveals that the proposed method successfully generates glassy effected images.
