In the absence of oxalic acid, the methanol solution of compound 32 gave numerous unrecognisable peaks, some with high values of m/z: 674 (29%), 1054 (27), 1605 (100), 1797 (49), 1874 (41), 1959 (35), but they were thought to arise from trace impurities.…”
