Glycine Receptors

Abstract: Absract The inhibitory glycine receptor is a ligand‐gated chloride channel of the cys‐loop receptor family. As a chloride‐selective channel, it mediates rapid synaptic inhibition in mammalian spinal cord, brainstem, higher brain centres and nonneuronal tissues.
