This paper investigates the linkages between pressure from stakeholders, eco‐innovation and environmental performance considering the moderating role of being a cooperative. Using survey data from 239 Spanish companies we developed a model of structural equations to verify the relationship between the variables. We show that the implementation of eco‐innovations, driven by pressure from internal stakeholders, leads to better environmental performance. In addition, our results strengthen previous empirical evidence about the compromise of cooperatives with the community, workers, and the environment: they are influenced by both internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of eco‐innovations, while limited liability companies are influenced only by internal stakeholders.

The green transition is increasingly viewed as a path to prosperity, or even survival, for organizations. In several countries, greening is vigorously pursued across various organizational activities, including organizational culture, which has garnered significant scholarly attention. However, there appears to be no comprehensive literature review on green organizational culture (GOC) indexed by reputable databases like Scopus. This paper aims to provide a bibliometric overview of GOC. A total of 558 documents from Scopus, spanning 1996–2023, were analyzed using bibliometric methods. The study examines the research performance on GOC, including volume growth trajectory, document types, contributing countries, international collaboration, research groups, influential authors, and prominent sources in GOC research. Notably, it identifies five main schools of thought and two topical trends in GOC literature. This may be the first effort to review GOC literature using Scopus data, highlighting performance and mapping the scientific landscape of this field.

This study examines the relationship between employees' green environmental behavior and environmentally friendly organizational performance. Using the SEM-PLS analysis method, this study involved 307 respondents of tourism actors by testing survey data in the form of structural models involving personal and organizational factors related to employees' green environmental behavior. The findings show a positive and significant influence of employees' green environmental behavior on the performance of environmentally friendly organizations. In addition, factors such as environmental literacy, environmental empowerment, and environmental leadership also have a significant influence on employees' green environmental behavior. However, it was found that factors such as employee religiosity, green environment self-efficacy, and green environment training did not significantly influence them. The study provides new insights into factors influencing employees' green environmental behavior and provides a solid foundation for developing workplace strategies and policies that support green environmental behavior.
