Abstract:The hairy roots of Rehmannia glutinosa (Gaertn.) Libosch. ex Fisch. & C. A. Mey. are capable of producing active compounds such as iridoid glycoside, and phenylethanoid glycosides, which have potential applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
