GroEL Chaperonin-Based Assay for Early Diagnosis of Scrub Typhus

Abstract: A point-of-care diagnostic for early and rapid diagnosis of scrub typhus caused by Orientia tsutsugamushi is required for prompt and proper treatment of patients presenting with undifferentiated febrile illnesses.
