Guiding arm template for manual set-up

Abstract

In this article, step-by-step fabrication of a template, namely guiding arm template is presented. This template is useful in setting the sectioned teeth with desired tip and torque while building a manual set-up for customization of lingual brackets. It is fabricated on a 0.019"-0.025" stainless steel archwire by giving one bend in the coronal plane; three in the horizontal plane and one in sagittal plane.
