Abstract:We review our recent work on four topics in strong-interaction physics from the perspective of the gauge/gravity correspondence. In particular, we discuss (i) the construction of the "metric soft wall" dual for holographic QCD which reproduces the observed linear square-mass trajectories of radially and orbitally excited (light-quark) hadrons, (ii) an extension of the metric soft wall which encodes diquark correlations holographically and additionally leads to an excellent description of the empirical nucleon … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
