Ideja za projekat „Pasivna kuća“ je potekla od vidikovca/ osmatračnice za ptice, koje se najčešće nalaze do vode ili u vodi, radi boljeg pregleda okoline. Lokacija, koja je uzeta za potrebe projekta, je idealno mesto za osmatračnicu zbog velikog broja ptica, kao i riba i divljači. Koncept se bazira na sjedinjavanju ideje osmatračnice sa kućom za odmor i dobijanju objekta, koji bi bio u celosti samoodrživ i pasivan, zbog potrebe lokacije, i koji bi omogućavao ljudima da provedu neko vreme izolovani u prirodi, radi potrebe istraživanja ili razonode.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the possibility of promoting rooftop rainwater harvesting to address future water scarcity in the Oxford College of Engineering and Management Nawalparasi district. AutoCAD software drew accepted plans and maps; manual measurement was done with measuring tape since some parts were missing. The results show that the linear forecast 1558.139, 1581.57mm,1548.63mm, 1598.14mm and 1570.64mm. The volume of water is 5135.54, 5028.16, 5188.94, 5099.68 respectively. It also shows the calculation of water demand which is 5,820,000 liters per year, and the water harvested is 5188946.58 liters per year. Finally, with this ratio, we realized we could fulfil 89.15% of water demand through water harvesting. The time series relevant results indicated that the A.R.I.M.A. model of forecasting rainfall was based on (0.1.0), signifying the R Square value is .631 and the p-value is insignificant (p > 250), which is better for this forecasting model.

“…Storage of rainwater must hold rainwater collected during rainy or wet periods to use during dry periods when there is water scarcity from the usual available sources (Azizul, 2017). According to Avis & Avis (2019), harvested rainwater storage is used to carry over any net surplus or compensate for water deficits. Therefore, the sizing of a rainwater reservoir that exceeds the monthly liquid needs for these purposes would enable the surplus water collected to supply the shortfall between April and September.…”

[Objective] The main objective of this research was to evaluate the potential for saving drinking water by using rainwater as a source of supply for non-potable purposes in two neighborhoods with social housing in the municipality of Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. [Methodology] The consumption statistics for each month of 2020 were used for each of the homes comprising the Benjamin José Cardoso and Sol Nascente Housing Complexes, and the fraction of drinking water that is destined in homes for non-potable purposes was estimated. The information corresponding to the monthly rainfall records of the last 50 years was analyzed and the monthly volume of rainwater that could be harvested in each house was calculated. [Results] The average monthly volume of rainwater that could be captured through the roof area of each dwelling is 3.39 m3. During the rainy months of the year, it would be feasible to save a higher percentage of water than that allocated for non-potable purposes. Sizing a rainwater reservoir that exceeds the monthly needs for non-potable purposes would allow the surplus of collected water to supply the liquid during the dry season. [Conclusions] Since the average percentage of savings in drinking water for both neighborhoods exceeded 53%, the saving of the monthly consumption can contribute to the reduction of payments for the drinking water service and the consumption of the liquid in the municipality, particularly during drought months.
