Abstract:The principle of a HCCI engine is to inject a mixture of fuel and air into the cylinder and allow it to self-ignite under a high compression ratio. Unlike traditional gasoline and diesel engines, the mixture in the HCCI engine is homogeneous and does not require an ignition system to ignite it.
