“…In one of the largest single institution series 21 of 38 (55%) patients with paranasal soft tissue sarcoma received (neo)adjuvant chemotherapy. Unfortunately, data were insufficient to evaluate the role of (neo)adjuvant treatments [74]. Generally, the results of adjuvant chemotherapy in treatment of head and neck soft tissue sarcoma have been disappointing [75].…”

“…In stage IV the survival is about of 40,0% in young patients and with smaller tumors than 5cm 7,10,15 . In addition, histologic variant of calcifying type of SSs frequently have better survival rate than the type of the case.…”

“…SSs are also positive for EMA, vimentin, BCL-2, CD99, and calponin, which facilitates arriving at a correct and conclusive diagnosis of the tumor 10 . The immunohistochemistry techniques performed in this case revealed sections that showed intensely positive staining for vimentin and diffuse staining in epithelial cells, cytoplasmic/membrane staining for EMA, CD99-Synovial sarcoma: case report positive staining in the membrane of rounded cells, and Bcl-2-positive staining involving the membrane and cytoplasm.…”

“…Published data regarding these tumors are limited further by their varying phenotypes and clinical behavior . Included within the class of sarcomas is angiosarcoma with typically more aggressive behavior to dermatofibroma protuberans often with lower graded histology, thus complicating the treatment algorithm .…”
