Abstract:This paper presents the implementation of polyethylene-covered water bolus into a non-invasive breast cancer hyperthermia applicator. This modified hyperthermia applicator is introduced to improve the performance of hyperthermia by reducing or removing unwanted hotspots during hyperthermia treatment.
