Abstract:This paper reports the results of numerical simulation of a steady-state convective flow of incompressible fluid in the gap between two coaxial cylinders. We assume that only half of the inner cylinder is heated, and the external cylinder is kept at constant temperature. It has been established that the rotation of the heater through a certain angle causes the convective plume axis to deviate. This strongly affects the flow pattern and the related heat transfer process. The dependence of the position of the te… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
