Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Implications for Critical Care Nurses

Abstract: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is being used increasingly in the treatment of malignant and nonmalignant diseases. The treatment modality has been proven effective but is not without risks.
