Hemoglobin Aalborg Causing Low Oxygen Saturation in a Child

Abstract: Patients with inherited low oxygen affinity hemoglobin variants such as hemoglobin Aalborg could have low oxygen saturations despite normal oxygen delivery to tissues. Timely and correct diagnosis could help clinicians to avoid unnecessary investigations and spare patients unnecessary cost and anxiety.
