Hemoperfusion: Present and Future

Abstract: Hemoperfusion, the direct passage of blood over absorbing materials such as charcoals or resins to remove toxic compounds from the circulatory system, is now undergoing a significant revival of interest as a clinically helpful therapeutic tool.
