Abstract:Background
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of primary liver cancer, and it often develops in patients with underlying liver cirrhosis. The prevalence of HCC in cirrhotic patients is a significant concern, as it poses a high risk of morbidity and mortality.
