patterns obtained in the measurement are close to those in the simulation. It is noticed that the H-plane (xy-plane) pattern is reasonable over the UWB bandwidth. The simulated peak gain of the proposed antenna is plotted in Figure 7. It is noticed that a satisfactory gain level is achieved through the whole UWB band.
