Abstract:Phlebitis caused by high concentration amiodarone infusion is a rather uncommon occurrence. Phlebitis is one of the most reported causes of high concentration amiodarone continuous infusion in bradycardia. We reported a case of patient with continuous infusion of amiodarone induced phlebitis. Patient felt pain along the path of cannula, erythema, induration, palpable venous cord.
