High dielectric constant and low loss microwave dielectric ceramics of (1 &minus; <i>y</i>)(Mg<sub>0.95</sub>Co<sub>0.05</sub>)<sub>2</sub>(Ti<sub>0.95</sub>Sn<sub>0.05</sub>)O<sub>4</sub>&ndash;<i>y</i>(Ca<sub>0.61</sub>Nd<sub>0.8/3</sub>)TiO<sub>3</sub> for microwave applications

Abstract: High-quality (1 ¹ y)(Mg 0.95 Co 0.05 ) 2 (Ti 0.95 Sn 0.05 )O 4 y(Ca 0.61 Nd 0.8/3 )TiO 3 ceramics were prepared by solid-state reaction. The products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and network analyzer. (Mg 0.95 Co 0.05 ) 2 (Ti 0.95 -Sn 0.05 )O 4 (MCTS) has a dielectric constant (¾ r ) of ³14.7, a high quality factor (Q©f ) of ³330, 134 GHz, and a temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (¸f ) of ³ ¹46 ppm/°C. 0.48 MCTS ¹0.52CNT has an excellent combination of micro… Show more
