“…In the present work, as shown in Fig. 6, only at the highest anode potential and electric charge values (i.e., 2.5 V and 1500 C) it was possible to identify a higher absorption in the 3700-3000 cm −1 region, corresponding to the stretching of hydroxyl group and N-H stretching vibrations [43]. In addition, a mild shift and increase of the absorption at 1661 cm −1 , related to carbonyl stretching of the pyrrolidone ring, was observed in the sample treated at 2.5 V upon circulation of 1500 C.
