Abstract: Increasing the operating temperature while enhancing detectivity is paramount for the advancement of HgCdTe infrared detectors. In this context, the integration of plasmonic nanostructures emerges as one of the most intriguing avenues, promising breakthroughs in infrared sensing capabilities.
